Pacific Piano School(formerly Polonsky Piano School) was founded in 1996 by Viktor and Anna Polonsky; Soviet Union-born pianists and educators, who immigrated to the United States. In less than 10 years, PPS became a musical establishment with over 600 students & 32 teachers in 4 different locations. In 2005 Anna & Viktor opened a new PPS location in the Evergreen neighborhood of San Jose. There were about 100 students and 6 teachers in 2010 when Dmitriy got a job offer from Mr. Polonsky and moved to California.2013 marks a new beginning for PPS!  Victor sold the Evergreen School to Dmitriy and Polonsky Piano School was renamed to Pacific Piano School, Russian School of Music. Mr. Kosovskiy’s three degrees in Piano Performance & Pedagogy from the University of Washington in Seattle along with his Master Teacher title at PPS provided an obvious match for the further development of PPS.
