Q: How to Raise a Competent, Confident, Self-Esteem Kid ?

You may hear kids saying "I can't", "It's too hard" even before trying it, "I'm always the slowest" and "I'm scared".  What's systematic ways to boost their confidence ?  The other consequence of this would be the kid would feel unhappy.

Parents need to think in their kid's place and try to be as responsive as possible so the kid always lives in a caring, love and supportive environment.  Confidence can rises out of sense of competence. 
Here are a few tips gathered from doctors, other parents and the web hopefully helpful to other parents:

  • Spend time with your kid, playing, study and other activities
  • Be positive yourself to set an example
    • Encourage and praise genuinely
