All children face challenges at school, but you may find your child is really struggling in the classroom. At home, be sure to provide your child with a quiet and helpful homework environment. Turn off the television and other distracting activities. Sit down with your child and offer one-on-one support if they are having trouble with their work. Lastly, show an interest in your child’s schoolwork. If your child knows you care about how they are doing in school, they are more likely to openly communicate with you about the struggles they face. |
