Q: Eagle Scout: how to get it?

How much time and effort needed? The impat on the needed for other after school activities?

Here are a few steps you can follow through:
1. Search and join Scout troop that you like.
2. Read the Scout handbook, participate in activities, earn ranks/badges as required (e.g. 10+ merit badges)
3. Be an active Life Scout for six months or more before your 18th birthday
4. Be a leader to serve your troop or some accepted community for six months
5. Be in a Scoutmaster conference, you can review and discuss your progress towards the Eagle Scout
6. Complete a service project for some communities. It needs to be reviewed and approved by the board
After completion of these requirement, you'll proudly go to the Eagle Court of Honor Ceremony to become an Eagle Scout !
