Outdoor Education

Quality child care means makes a difference for children and families. Being passionate in early child education, we focus on providing infant and toddler care for kids aged from 3 months to 4 years old. We partner with families from all walks of life to create meaningful learning experience for every little one through play and developmentally appropriate activities.

Mission Kids is a child-centered, play-based cooperative preschool, currently serving fifteen children in the classroom a day. Children range in age from 2 years and 9 months to those entering kindergarten. Our program is designed to nurture children’s social, emotional, physical and intellectual growth by creating a peaceful classroom environment where children can explore while feeling respected and secure.

Kids Outdoor Club was started by a San Francisco father of three children who strongly believes that the great outdoors is one of the world's greatest teachers. Our award winning ("Best of the Bay") program has not changed that much at all. We still explore nature all over the city (and play games/sports) with a baseline philosophy of encouraging the children to self-direct their own day (not what the program schedule dictates).

At JC Family Childcare, we aim to provide the most comfortable, educational, and fun experience for your little human. Our facility occupies a full floor of our building complete with an indoor playground and sectionalized play areas appropriate for all children. We also feature weekly outdoor activities that range from trips to John McLaren Park to participating in story time at the Portola Library. In addition to our outdoor adventures we also incorporate arts and crafts, singing, story time, and circle time into our schedule daily.
